Republic of Music | YOUR LIVE BAND & DJ!

at the kids wouldn’t get bored, and that the grandmas would stay up late and have a good time. After the planning calls I was confident the band would deliver, and on the day of my wedding - they did! It was so great seeing everyone from the flower girls to the grandparents dancing together. My mother’s biggest concern was having live music during dinner. She was worried that the music would be too loud for everyone to hear their conversations, but the band played  acoustic music during dinner and it was perfect! People were even slow dancing, and it brought a tear to my eye to see my Aunt and Uncle dancing together to Tennessee Whiskey “just like they used to” or so they told me. Seriously I still get compliments on the band.  My other favorite part was the horns!! They brought such a magical sound, and they even lead my guests from the cocktail hour to the reception with a parade of “when the saints go marching in”. It was so cool, and when it came time to dance, it was epic hearing Earth Wind and Fire with live horns.  Other than sounding really great, the planning process was easy, I got to pick my music and my singers, and felt super supported in making sure my family was gonna have a great time. 100/10 recommend republic of music for your wedding, or any event!

band was, and how they danced their butts off (yes- even my 92 year old great aunt!!) They are so talented, the beginning of the night felt so romantic and elegant, it was everything I dreamed of for my max formal wedding- I wasn’t into anything too cheesy that might mess up the pictures I’ll have hanging on my walls forever. The band showed up looking great, swaying and slaying through dinner, and when it came time to dance, the energy was high and it still felt like the boujee wedding my little self had always dreamt of, but better. The singers were so much fun to interact with, and me and my husband even got on stage for a song. It was SO FUN!  I was worried that my exact vision wouldn’t come to life, but Tiana talked me through everything and even learned my first dance song. It sounded even better than the original, my family still swears it sounded like I had Shania Twain herself at my wedding.  If you’re worried that this isn’t the band for you, just call Tiana. Her sweet caring nature ensured that I knew I was making the right decision, and that my special night would come together just like it had in my head. THANK YOU TO REPUBLIC OF MUSIC!!

r guests always rave about the band when talking about our wedding. Before the big day, they took the time to really understand our music style and vision. Then they executed it perfectly. Our overall vision for the wedding was elegant so I loved that they even gave us the option for a black tie dress code for themselves. That being said, we love to dance and wanted our dance floor to be fun and energetic for  all the guests. They did a great job selecting music with broad appeal just like we wanted. Everything ran smoothly on the day of. One really special moment was doing the hora accompanied by their live performance.

ty for us. Other than “congratulations”, the comment we heard most from our guests all night long was how great our band was! We hired an 8-piece band + additional brass after discussing our guest count, music preferences and overall wedding vibe, and we ended up adding on a solo pianist to set the tone at our cocktail hour with the venue’s grand piano. RoM was hugely impactful in setting the timeline for the whole evening from the start of the reception to the end of the night. I think it’s easy to forget when hiring your wedding music that they are also providing the emcee services for the evening, where understanding the timeline and any unique requests really impacts how your whole night flows. They were incredibly thoughtful and professional in how they approached this process, and they demonstrated that they allow couples to be as detailed as you want in crafting the musical experience (their intake survey was the most impressive of any band we met with) and also any wedding formalities or unique traditions you want to incorporate. However, they also bring their expertise to the table and give very helpful guidance based on their depth of experience. They know how to read the room, plan fun interactive dance moments involving props, accessories and crowd interactions, and we trusted them completely, and rightfully so. We would note that RoM is uniquely talented at bringing great energy to the event and (more importantly) tailoring that energy to their audience. Our wedding sought a very classic, elegant tone (black tie optional, most of the men wore tuxedos, our first dance was Frank Sinatra) and RoM brought that tone to life. And as the night got later (and their audience more rambunctious), RoM knew exactly how to turn up their vibe and turn down that dance floor. Given their remarkable musical talent and professionalism, their pricing offers unbelievable value. Many quotes we received were significantly higher, but we got the most professional and energetic impression from RoM from those early conversations, and they lived up to - if not exceeded - our expectations. If you hire RoM, you’re in for an incredibly energetic, smooth, fun and memorable experience!

r clients—brides, grooms, guests—radiated pure joy. Everyone looked like they were having the night of their lives. That energy was magnetic, so we sent an inquiry. The response? It absolutely blew us away. Tiana reached out with a warmth that was both professional and disarming. She teased out ideas, stretched our imagination, and helped us zero in on the vibe we wanted. Fun? Over-the-top? Mellow? She made space for all of it. We’re in our 50s—not our 20s or 30s—but we believe deeply in love, soulmates, and living life to the fullest. Tiana helped us channel that spirit and share it with every guest that night. We wanted a party that would be talked about for years—a celebration that set the standard. And we wanted music that included everyone. From the first interaction, booking was a breeze. Tiana was responsive, professional, and incredibly accommodating. Her suggestions for every musical moment leading up to the reception were spot-on and helped shape the entire day. We had access to ROM’s incredible 800+ song list, which gave us the freedom to dream big and customize every moment. Tiana also engaged with our diverse tastes and cultural backgrounds. As children of the ’80s, we had our favorites—but she kept the music current and fresh, blending nostalgia with modern hits in a way that felt seamless and exciting. What we didn’t know? Tiana was secretly coordinating with our daughters behind the scenes for surprise performances. Our kids, niece, and friends all had moments to shine, and the band graciously lent their equipment to make it happen. When we hit a planning wall close to the big day, Tiana scheduled a three-way call (we were in different cities) that re-energized us and got us back on track. Any lingering worries about the music vanished after that call. We wondered how the transitions would work—from our daughters’ performance to ROM—but Tiana MADE. IT. WORK. On the day of the wedding, the band arrived on time, set up smoothly, and coordinated effortlessly with our planner and vendors. Respectful, efficient, and clearly seasoned pros. Tiana also helped curate our ceremony music with two musicians, creating a tender, intimate, and organic atmosphere. Then came the reception—and THE MUSIC. The full 6-piece band was on fire. Dressed to the nines, they lit up the room from the first note. Our first dance wasn’t traditional—it was a medley of “You’re the One That I Want,” “September,” and “24K Magic”—and they played it LIVE. Guests were cheering throughout our dance routine. It was beyond anything we imagined. And then came the Urban Medley—a high-energy, genre-blending set that packed the dance floor and kept it full all night. It was the perfect fusion of R&B, pop, funk, and hip-hop, and it brought every generation to their feet. One magical surprise? Tiana had our guests wave blue iridescent napkins during our grand entrance. We had no idea. The photos and videos from that moment are pure joy. It was the most unforgettable moment of the night. From R&B and jazz during dinner to pop, rock, and funk that kept the dance floor alive, the set list was perfectly curated. People weren’t just dancing—they were singing, connecting, and creating memories across generations and continents. She also knew exactly when to dial things down for speeches, slideshows, and emotional performances. Her sensitivity to the flow of the evening ensured that every moment landed with impact. The biggest benefit of hiring ROM? It wasn’t just the unforgettable dance party, the peace of mind, or the reduced stress. It was Tiana herself—her warmth, professionalism, energy, and confidence made the entire experience worth the investment. We felt like we could hand over the reins and trust that everything would be great. And it was. To future couples: Trust Tiana. Let her guide you. She will take your vision, sprinkle it with magic, and deliver a night that exceeds your wildest dreams. We felt seen, celebrated, and completely supported—and we’re still getting messages from guests saying it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended.

o our preferences. Every single person there danced all night and said it was hands down the best band they’d ever heard. Foolish to consider anyone else. We would never use anyone else. Ever. Kind, classy, gracious, professional, fun, attuned to the crowd all night. No one left the dance floor. Can’t get better than that.

, and everyone in between kept the dance floor rocking!

ures to dance it can be overwhelming. Tiana took the time to talk at length about what we wanted and how to achieve it with the band as well as the DJ we had afterwards. I don't think the dance floor was empty at any point except when food was being eaten. Highly recommend.

il we found Tiana and Republic of Music! Their pricing is spot on, exactly what you'd expect for a group this talented, organized, warm, energetic, and truly AMAZING. We were able to customize our entire evening—starting with a trio during cocktail hour, beautiful singing during dinner, and then they absolutely brought the house down for the main reception! RoM handled special announcements seamlessly, and Tiana even sang a Beatles song for one of our dads’ birthdays. They were so accommodating, and the energy and flow of the evening was incredible—high-energy, interactive, and perfect! Almost everyone was on the dance floor, even those who 'don’t dance' (GASP!). RoM kept the dance floor packed all night long! Tiana was incredibly attentive, and the vocals... OMG! She casually belted out Whitney Houston’s 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody,' and we were literally bowing down to her with our glow sticks! Her voice is absolutely incredible, and the male vocalist was equally as impressive. Every glowing review they have is a testament to their commitment to making your day unforgettable. You and your guests will be talking about them forever!

ble. If you want your wedding reception to be a shoes-off dance party, but are worried that you and/or your bride aren't capable of being super dynamic dance floor starters, rest assured that RoM will do that work for you while making the bride+groom look awesome along the way. RoM possesses attention to detail and will make sure to tailor the evening's musical experience to the newlyweds and their guests. I wrote an original song for our first dance and the band started learning it weeks in advance to make sure they didn't miss a note. They are true professionals and have lots of fun honing their craft in real time. A year from now, your guests won't remember if the rice pilaf was a 6/10 or 8/10. Nor will they remember if your flower arrangements were pink or purple. They WILL remember they had a great time dancing to a fun setlist played by excellent performers. As someone who just got married, I highly encourage upcoming newlyweds to allocate their wedding budget accordingly. Go with RoM! You won't regret it.

ter in law even joined in with them for a song. You will love this band!!!!

etail and an extensive song list covering all the kinds of music we love, from pop hits to country. As soon as the band started playing dinner music, our guests were immediately impressed and looking around like “are you hearing this?!” The sax was such an awesome touch and well worth the upgrade! This band knows how to keep the party going with the right song at the right moment, and as a result the dance floor was crowded all night long. They even let us join them on stage for a surprise bride & groom duet which was a memory we’ll never forget. We ended the night with a DJ afterparty and booking this through Republic of Music made it so easy, and DJ Treflip crushed it! We had multiple guests ask for the band’s information for future events and we were happy to provide it with an enthusiastic recommendation. Thanks Tiana & RoM!

dding day to make sure we and all of our guests had the best time dancing the night away. Their musicianship is top notch and their song list is extensive. They really let you tailor your song list to you exact musical preferences! Tiana the lead singer was also our emcee for the evening and did a fantastic job giving introductions for our speeches, meals, and special activities. Would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding or private event to consider Republic of Music. You won’t be disappointed!

s unmatched and they are by far the most electric wedding band I’ve ever seen. Our wedding was at the San Diego Museum of Art and Republic of Music tailored their performance to our every wish. Republic of Music bridged our mother-son dance song into the start of their set, allowing all our friends to dance with my Mom and I to kick off the dancing. They doubled down as our MC and even allowed some members of the audience on stage to sing with them, they’re so much fun and I can’t recommend them enough. From the outset, RoM scheduled many planning calls with us, talking through our vision with us and helping us bring the dance floor of our dreams to life, we’re so grateful for their energy and ability to make our night so special. I truly have no notes, they were fantastic. If you have a lively group and your friends and family love to dance then look no further, this is your band.

c of Music owned the stage at our wedding with old and new songs that got every generation out their sets; they had props and interactive crowd work that made our guests feel included; and just a rippppping great sound. They even had us on stage close out the night. It was sick. We also loved the thorough collaboration between us, Tiana, and the band, letting my wife and I select the type of musicians, the amount of of bandmates, even listening to our playlists and learning songs so they could get the vibe we were trying to create - all before taking the stage. After the show was over, we had wedding guests coming up exclaiming our wedding was “a 'God Tier' wedding,” and “The BEST wedding they'd ever been to, period." That’s largely because of the band from Republic of Music. Tiana - I am so thankful our wedding planner, Korie from Bliss Events, referred us to you. It was exactly everything we wanted and more. Thank you thank you thank you Tiana & team!

and how we've convinced them to have a live band at their weddings now. Amazing team!!!

h all the fun fan interaction things like bubble gun, Congo line, and inflatable toys! Cannot recommend these guys enough for any and all events!!

y single guest came up to me or texted me after saying it was the best time and the band was the best they’ve ever seen. From the start of working with them, they were so calm, cool, and collected which made me so confident in them being so great. I had a million questions and was a nervous wreck on choosing a band because that was such a center point of our wedding. We wanted a party and they brought it!! When I had my consultation call with Tiana, she asked me if I had a specific genre or songs I wanted them to play. I told her to read the crowd and play whatever she wants. I am so happy I did this, because every song was spot on. One of my biggest concerns was people not dancing and wow we had a packed dance floor the entire time. My husband NEVER dances, and he was on the dance floor the entire night having the best time. The band understood how to keep everyone engaged and pulled out different fun “activities” like handing out blow up fake guitars for everyone to rock out to. It was soo much fun. The band even got word towards the end of the night that I wanted to get on stage and sing along to close out the night. They helped me get on stage and have the best night of my life. It was truly a dream come true, they were spot on with everything, sounded incredible and I would recommend them to literally everyone and anyone! The best day/night of my life thanks to this band!! 🫶🏼

l, and more importantly, a TON of of fun. The dance floor was packed from the opening note until the end of the night. We initially really wanted a full band, but then also wanted the non-traditional "band" music i.e. EDM, Hip-Hop, etc. , so we did a DJ and live music (drummer, bass, saxophone) at Tiana's suggestion and it was the ULTIMATE combo!! Our guests LOVED it and so did we!! Tiana and her team were amazing and ROM kept the vibes up all night!

ensure they got the right vibe and were flexible on the day of to make sure that we got the experience we wanted. We have received a multiple comments from family and friends that they have never seen a band so great at a wedding! If you like what you see online then what you get in person will blow you away!

life! Great band!”, which pretty much sums up everyone’s experience. Leading up to our wedding, Republic of Music worked with us to get an idea of what we wanted, but they also brought tons of their own flair and took the party up to club energy levels. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We’ve never seen anything like it at a wedding before so to have this very important aspect of our wedding turn out so amazingly well thanks to Republic of Music is something we and our guests will never forget.

, and you were the right choice. You were so good that several of our guests wanted to know if you would travel to their events. They are still talking about the band. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Don

make or break the vibe of a wedding and ROM did not disappoint - Tiana and the other band members were beyond incredible. They picked the right music for various parts of the evening (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party) and closely worked with us to ensure all of our asks were met. They did a great job of interacting with the guests on the dance floor when appropriate, and their late night DJ that we requested really knew how to get the party started! 10/10 would ABSOLUTELY recommend hiring them for your wedding - you will not regret it! Love you ROM!

eft the dance floor the entire night and people continued to ask us about the band afterwards. We're so grateful for Tiana and the entire band for making our wedding night the most memorable. So much fun!

re so flexible in the genre of music that you request. For our wedding, there were two vocalists (female and male), saxophonist (well work the extra for him), guitar, base, keyboard and drums. Our guests have repeatedly said that this was the most fun they had ever had at any wedding. Our guests spanned all ages and everyone was up on the dance floor. We cannot say enough good things about the Republic of Music and we would recommend them without hesitation.

d with weddings - they had such great tips and ideas for me about how best to execute the day. We got so many amazing compliments about how awesome the band was - highly highly recommend ROM!

NYE and it was truly the best decision ever! The dance floor was always packed, they interacted with the guests, and they sounded absolutely incredible. We also had them do our Ceremony music and it was absolutely incredible. They brought our vision to life and it's something we will NEVER forget. You would be remiss if you did not hire Republic of Music for your event (Wedding, corporate event, Birthday party, etc)!

). Really magical. The leader of the band Tiana is wonderful to work with, and is an outstanding performer. Really can't say enough wonderful things about them. Even months after the fact one of the things people always say about our wedding was how good the band was. We're definitely hiring RoM for any wedding anniversary parties!

ever had. Not only was the band an absolute powerhouse of melody and song, but an interactive, radiant group of musicians that are second to none. I mean, holy shi*t. Starting from the very beginning, Tiana was an incredible listener and truly wanted to help us bring our musical vision to life. We had some pretty, pretty specific requests in terms of song selection, genre, and do’s and don’ts, and Tiana only encouraged us to follow our instincts and go for it. This didn’t feel as much of an us vs them, but an overall group effort that was perfectly executed to our liking. We had multiple family performances, guests on stage singing with the band, and an endless uproar or applause whenever the next song would start. Months later, we still have friends telling us that they’ll never recover from the dancing at our wedding. Our parents and their friends still talk to this day that they’ve never seen a better wedding band than Republic of Music, although I wouldn’t classify them as a wedding band but more of a band that I would genuinely pay to see on a Friday night. Tiana and ROM were attentive, kind, and most importantly, patient with us during our entire planning process. At the end of the day, if you’re not hiring Republic of Music for your wedding, you’re making a mistake.

cally to what we wanted and our guests had a total blast! We can't recommend them enough.

round when necessary. Highly recommend.

our wedding telling us how much fun they had on the dance floor that night. I expected our friends to tear up the dance floor but did not expect ROM to keep my parents’ friends, aunts, uncles, and even grandmas on the dance floor the way that they did. This was also San Diego in July and the dance floor was HOT, yet everyone chose to embrace the sweat and stick it out on the dance floor rather than take a break on the breezy patio and we loved every minute of it. It was a night we will never forget and only made possible because of how amazing ROM is. During our first conversation with Tiana, we explained how we wanted to engage the crowd throughout the evening and gradually escalate to a full-blown party. She immediately understood what we wanted and executed it perfectly – even going so far as to hand the mic to my cousin (who is also a fantastic singer) and allowing her to serenade our guests with “Killing me softly with his song” before dinner. It was a huge hit with our guests and now my family sings along to that song at every family gathering. I think what I appreciated most about ROM is that they truly want to make it your day and they give you the ability to be as involved in the planning process as you want while providing their expert opinions. They know what songs will get people dancing and allowing them to do their thing, while mixing in a few personal touches/requests was exactly what we were looking for and ROM provided perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about Tiana and the rest of the band and am forever grateful we booked them for our special day! If you are on the fence, you will not regret booking them, they are the absolute BEST wedding band! You will absolutely LOVE them!

figure out what music to play and gave suggestions as well. On the day of the wedding they made it incredibly easy, we were able to enjoy the music, dance, and interact with them while they played. They gave out props and called people to the dance floor to keep everyone entertained and I loved that so much! Even to this day everyone at my wedding talks about how amazing our band is and that is all thanks to Republic of Music, we love you guys!

ions. So many people told me we had the best band they have seen. It was an incredible night and they are a huge part of why it was perfect. Thank you !!!

y even let my family members be a part of some of the numbers. It was so meaningful, so perfect in every way, and each musician was SO talented.

usic did for our wedding. Our family and friends are STILL talking about how much fun they had months later. Tiana made the whole planning process so easy and was able to guide us with great recommendations when we were a little stumped on what to do! The band did a great job of listening to our song requests and even learned a new song at my request as a surprise for my husband. They also were happy to accommodate some of the more outdated requests we had. The dance floor was packed all night long and they interacted with our guests so well. We had so much fun with them and were sad when they played the last song. At the end of the day, we were so happy with this big purchase and they were worth every penny.

ests approached us during the wedding to rave about the band - the sound, the quality, the fun! The general consensus among the crowd was that this was the best band and most fun party vibe they had ever experienced at a wedding. We’re obviously biased given it was our special day, but we have to agree! From the bubble guns, to call-and-response competitions, to limbos and conga lines, they really did everything they could to make it a fun event for all. The bride’s cousin was even welcomed on stage to jam out with an inflatable saxophone in some Blue Brother’s style shades! It was truly memorable. And entertainment accoutrement aside, they were absolutely incredible musicians! The singers had such an impressive range and they flawlessly covered every genre, from country to rock to ABBA! The lead singer was off the charts...the guitar solos were top notch! Every musician was an expert at his or her craft. We worked with Tiana to prepare for the big day and cannot speak highly enough of her professionalism and attitude. She was so easy to work with and made prep a breeze. She even generously accommodated last minute new song requests. RomProd is all about careful and extensive preparation to ensure a flawless event - we collaborated on a timeline & preferences worksheet and met for a 90 minute session with Tiana in the month before the wedding to ensure that we were aligned on every nuanced detail. RomProd is respectful of and will cater to your specific party needs...if you want to control the set list and level of crowd engagement, you absolutely can, or you can give them leeway to perform with minimal guidance. We shared our musical interests but trusted in their experience to be responsive to the crowd and put on a show, and they more than delivered! Bottom line, you can rely on RomProd to make a party memorable, and we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone searching for a wedding band (in fact, we already have!). They were easy to work with, professional, and the epitome of entertainers. Thanks to them, we'll remember our wedding as the best night of our lives! The bride's father is already talking about throwing an anniversary party for the sole purpose of partying with RomProd for one more night! THANK YOU ROMPROD!

is in his 80s. What’s more they integrated seamlessly with our venue and other vendors. Cherry on top they were able to provide a DJ for the last hour and a half of our ceremony to play our favorite house hits after the live band segment concluded. Sprinkles they let the groom perform with the band! They really made our wedding. Excellent.

e ceremony and people loved the live music! For the reception we had an 11-piece band (gotta have a horn section, am I right?!) and it was a show stopper! The way they engaged the crowd and kept people on the dancefloor the whole night was amazing. All of our guests raved about how amazing the band was and how fun the reception was because of the band! I am so thankful for Republic of Music in helping our wedding be a fun and memorable occasion for us as well as our guests. THANK YOU!

ess. Longer version: We decided to make the investment in a live band because we really wanted our guests to be dancing and enjoying themselves during our daytime wedding. ROM’s musicians came recommended by both our day-of coordinator (Melissa Tuvey-Barrad) and several venues we looked at. What also impressed us about Tiana and her team was how great they sounded in their videos across a wide variety of musical styles, and also simply how many promo videos they had posted on their website. We had complete confidence that we knew what we were signing up for. The organization skills of ROM were also impressive. Filling out their 31-page wedding worksheet (Example questions – what song will you walk in to? Will we announce your parents’ names during it? Will they be walking in or at their seats?) gave me a lot of confidence that everything was going to run smoothly, because a group of professional and fun humans were going to be following what we’d discussed. The day of the wedding turned into concert-dance party, and I as the bride had a total blast. They had 90% of our guests dancing on their opening Enrique Iglesias number, which then looped into a Stevie Wonder song, and people loved it. And they especially killed it with the classic rock song my Dad and I had requested for our dance that wasn’t in their standard playlist. The artists’ incredible musicianship nailed the guitar and keyboard solos to the level of any recording, which will definitely go down as one of my top three memories of day. The compliments from guests are still coming in – they were a joy!
